Before you send a logo for digitizing

Artwork, size, fabric, and format — the four notes that keep a punch from stalling on the first review.

Clean vector artwork prepared for embroidery punching

A sharp vector or a 300 dpi PNG at the true sew size is punch-ready. A screenshot from a phone is a redraw ticket first.

Send artwork the needle can follow

Best: AI, EPS, or SVG with honest edges. Next: PNG or PDF at the size you will sew. A compressed JPEG of a sewn sample can work if it is sharp, but tiny type will still need a redraw.

Remove backgrounds that are not thread. If the logo sits in a photo of a shirt, crop to the mark. Amazing Punch can redraw a low-res lock, but that is a separate desk from the punch itself.

Size, placement, and fabric on the same ticket

Write the finished width (for example 3.2 inches left chest, or cap front height limit). Name the garment: pique polo, structured cap, fleece hoodie, terry towel. A file built for one will not behave on the others.

If you picked “Other” on the quote form, put the exact size in Instructions. Mention 3D puff, applique, or a patch border if that is the product — those are different punches.

Name the machine format

DST, PES, EXP, JEF, VP3, XXX, HUS, or EMB. Attach the image (up to 124 MB) and mark urgent only when the hoop is already waiting. Incomplete briefs cannot be rushed.
