Amazing Drawings made with a Magnifying Glass

{0 Comments}

Remember as a kid using a magnifying glass and the sun to burn the paper?

Filipino artist Jordan Mang-osan employs the same technique to create beautiful “solar drawings.”

He harnesses the power of the sun with a magnifying glass to create his wood-burned works of art. The award-winning artist from the Philippines also paints and you can see much more of his work on Facebook and Fine Art America where original paintings can be purchased.

I can’t imagine how someone has the patience and fortitude to hold the magnifying glass steady for that long.
