Have you ever heard of quilling? It’s a craft that is done by coiling paper on its side to make decorations. It looks way cooler than it sounds.
In this article you will have a complete tutorial on quilling technique.
1.Have the right supplies. Look at the things you’ll need section below. Some of the supplies are not at the average craft store, so you may need to look online. eBay is your safest bet. Quilling strips can be made just by cutting even strips of paper, and a slotted quilling tool can be substituted by a regular sewing needle.
3.Gently pull the coil off. If you want a loose coil, put it down and let it loosen. Once the coil is as big or small as you want it, glue the tail and hold for twenty seconds. For a tight coil, hold it while you glue the tail down to the rest of the coil. Hold for at least twenty seconds.
4.Pinch the coil into a shape if desired. It depends on what you’re making. You may want to pinch it into an eye shape for a leaf. You could also do a triangle for an ear. The possibilities are endless!
5.Glue all your pieces together. Be careful, though. It is almost impossible to have too little glue. Remember to hold them for twenty seconds!
